Governors Island adventures

the one thing that excites me the most about summer in NYC is the time we can spend at Governors Island. this place is filled with fun things to do. one place though takes the highest priority when we go there. it is an absolute must visit if you are in NYC with little kids for summer. junkyard playground. it sounds intriguing right? you are probably thinking it's an interesting theme for a playground, right? yes yes and yes! this is h e a v e n for little kids. because, lets face it, there is nothing more appealing to a toddler than roaming in the piles of junk, running around with pieces of broken furniture, smashing a head of a mannequin, using a hose of an old vacuum as a fire engine hose pipe, jumping, climbing, you name the filthiest toddler's fantasy it is come true on junkyard playground! save location
